Omayma Farahat

Former Chairperson & managing director at Arab Investment Bank

Omayma Farahat has been appointed as Chairperson of the Arab Investment Bank (AIBANK) in October 2018.

Prior to this, Farahat was Head of Corporate Banking at Ahli United Bank, where she co-founded the transition management team to manage the bank during the transitional period that followed the acquisition of the Bahrain International Bank by the AUB in Egypt in 2006.

Farahat holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Business Administration from the American University in Cairo.
