Former Minister of Trade and Industry

Nevine Gamea has been appointed as Executive Director of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprise Development Agency (MSME) in July 2017
In January 2005, Gamea joined the MSME Agency (previously the Social Fund for Development) until she became the first Secretary General in November 2016.
She started her career after her graduation from the Faculty of Commerce, Cairo University in 1985, by working in the National Bank for Development (Currently Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank Egypt – ADIB). She then moved to the National Bank of Egypt (NBE), where she established first Retail Banking Division and established an all-inclusive design for its financing products and marketing policy.
 This helped NBE attract a large market segment within a very short period of time.
Gamea is also a Board Member of Takaful Insurance Companies, Microfinance Enterprise Services Company – Reefy, Ayadi Company for Development and Investment, and the Economic Committee of the National Council for Women, and Industrial Modernisation Centre (IMC).
