Hania Sadek, former Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer at HSBC Bank Egypt. She has over 30 years of banking experience in in areas of Branch Management, Banking Technology, Procurement and Vendor Risk Management, Program and Project Management, Corporate Real Estate, Crises Management, and Strategic Planning.
Sadek earned her bachelor’s degree in Economics from the American University in Cairo in 1983 to immediately start her career with HSBC Bank Egypt.
She later received her master’s degree in Economics from the American University in Cairo in 1990.

Moreover, Sadek has ranked 37th in Forbes Middle East for the Top 200 Most Powerful Arab Women 2014, 42nd for the Top 100 Most Powerful Arab women 2016, and 44th by Forbes Middle East, among the Top 100 Most Powerful Arab Businesswomen in 2017.
