Prior joining The Housing & Development Bank, Gehan was the Head of Communications & Public Relations at McDonald’s Egypt. She has more than 15 years of experience in marketing, public relations and corporate communication. Gehan has played a positive role in contributing to community development through corporate social responsibility initiatives related to improving children’s well-being and development. Her contribution in the collaboration with Kheir w Baraka NGO on Ezbet Khair Allah project to improve children’s lives in one of Egypt’s largest unplanned communities. The recent partnership with the Ministry of Social Solidarity and Kheir w barka NGO as part of the early child development national project that focuses on developing children in critical early stages of their lives. She has also managed to make McDonald’s Egypt a pioneer contributor to the Autism cause to raise awareness, acceptance and celebrate the achievements and talents of people with Autism. She also has worked on many initiatives to improve children’s well-being and development in order to raise generations capable of contributing to Egypt’s development.
