About Me

Throughout her professional career, Eng. Salwa Zaki has been willing to serve the public interest, making the pursuit of excellence, transparency, and integrity. Her professional career varies starting from a project engineer at General Authority For Investments Office. She also chaired the industrial zone Authority and craftsmen’s residential complex in Housh Essa. She was also appointed as the General manager of the General State Properties General Authority office in El Beheira governorate. For her leadership competency in chairing the local administrative units at Ad Dilinjat, Housh Eissa, and El-Mahmoudeya, she was the first Egyptian woman to be appointed as the Local Chief Executive of Rashid City. She also ensured the efficiency of implementing national health initiatives such as the hepatitis C elimination, as well as the Cabinet’s Covid -19 response strategy. She is also a member of the national council of women Eng. Salwa Zaki obtained a bachelor’s degree in engineering from Alexandria University in 1987.
