About Me

Bachelor of Arts graduate with Marketing and International Business focus, and with over than 14 years of experience in Brand Building, Reputation Management, Product Launches, Strategic Planning, Corporate Communications, Public Relations, Internal Communications, Crisis Management, Events Management, Branding and Production. Currently working as a Senior Manager, Public Relations at Orange Egypt; managing the PR department directly with the Chief Communications Officer and the CEO as well as all company’s VPs and Orange group officials. Prior to Orange, Amira has been working on a Project basis as the Communications Director for El Gouna Film Festival’s 1st Edition which was an initiative that has been instated by Engineer Naguib Sawiris and a group of young talents.  Her involvement in the project was more of a dynamic role where it included more than corporate communications, events management and marketing activities as I was also involved in the operations of the logistics pertaining to the festival’s activities and programs. Her past experience includes 10 years of experience in the Client Servicing Department at Editor PR, Events and Communications firm serving big multinational and local clients from different industries. Moreover, she was also involved with the agency’s management processes and decisions, business development and quality assurance of work quality as well as the performance of the overall agency aside from my daily tasks in handling wide range of clients’ portfolio management. She advised companies from a wide range of sectors including but not limited to Tobacco Industry, FMCG, Real Estate, Automotive, Electronics and Technology, Telecom, Business Parks, Shipping and Logistics, Education, Governmental Institutes, Arts and NGOs. Amira Started her career as an account executive in an events and advertising agency and had a double promotion to serve as a senior supervisor in a very short time, then she decided to move to the corporate side and joined the Smart Villages company during its golden era of Dr. Tarek Kamel and Dr. Ahmed Nazzif. Has been recently awarded by the Arab Council for Social Responsibility in the Women Forum in the Digital Era for her efforts done in the year 2021. Has been awarded as one of the influential women in the ICT sector in 2020 Moreover, she participated in the jury of the local competition for Enactus Egypt in 2018 and 2019, that is held among students from 35 public and private Egyptian universities to choose the best student projects in the fields of community innovation and entrepreneurship. She participated in many seminars and lectures for university students to showcase the practical part of marketing communications and public relations and link it to the theoretical part. She served as a member of the Women’s Health Improvement Association until 2016. She participated in representing Egypt with Rotary International Foundation in the youth exchange program in Norway in 2006.
