About Me

Previously, Soha worked as the head of correspondent banking at American Express Bank subsidiary in Egypt (formerly Egyptian American Bank). She left in early 2006 to join Deutsche Bank AG to run cash management across Egypt, North Africa & Levant. After that, Soha assumed responsibility as head of the treasury services business for North Africa at BNYM Cairo. Soha joined J.P. Morgan in Egypt as a Senior Country Head in 2010; which was the first leadership position to oversee J.P. Morgan’s business across Egypt, Libya, Tunisia, Algeria and Morocco. Since she joined the firm over nine years ago, Soha managed to grow the overall bank-wide revenues from the region more than five times. She has played a crucial role in supporting the firm’s teams in the Middle East region to be awarded key transactions and has fostered very important relationships across Egypt and North Africa. In addition, she is the officially registered representative with the local Regulator in Egypt providing full governance and accountability on behalf of the firm in Egypt. Soha is responsible for managing key relationships across financial institutions, government entities, and corporations, and is directly involved in developing the business strategy, identifying key opportunities and target names and leading the regional sales and client service teams in the region. Soha’s banking experience spans to around 22 years and brings deep knowledge and expertise across the North Africa region. Managing one of the most complex and highly dynamic countries and economies that have gone through multiple challenges times and circumstances during which, Soha has lead the business safely, and continued to demonstrate a great leadership skills in managing and growing the business successfully. Soha has graduated from Faculty of Commerce and Business Administration – Foreign Trade Division, Helwan University in May 1996. Soha is an Arabic language native and is also fluent in English, French and Spanish. She also has a good understanding of the German language. Soha has great interests in sports, and participates actively in social & charity activities with Rotary Clubs in Egypt.
