In addition, she organized 9 international and regional conferences with the aim of promoting the continent’s investment climate, most recently the Africa 2018 Forum in Sharm El-Sheikh.
Furthermore, Salama did 40 studies and promotional publications on the investment climate in the COMESA countries.
Salama has provided leadership for various initiatives and promoted increased cooperation in the field of investment promotion, capacity building for investment promotion agency, in cooperation with various development partners.
In 2012, Salama was appointed as the Trade and Investment Representative of the Republic of Seychelles in Egypt. She has spent most of her life in Zambia where, among other things, she set-up, managed, and owned various businesses.
