Hadeer Shalaby former Regional Director of Careem Bus at Careem since September 2018. She has joined Careem in November 2014, as General Manager of Careem Egypt and later served as Director of portfolio-category Management from September 2017 till September 2018. For the love of entrepreneurship and youth organization, Shalaby was the first to introduce car reservation service in 2015 at the North Coast by Taxi El Sa7el, which was later acquired by Careem in summer 2014. Additionally, she joined AIESEC early on at university and took on the responsibility of setting up AIESEC Lebanon. Then joining AIESEC Global expansion operations in the Netherlands where she worked on expanding AIESEC teams all around the world. AIESEC is one the largest organizations managed by youth aiming to develop youth leaders through programs in 125 countries around the world. Shalaby received her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Marketing from the American University in Cairo in 2011. Under her leadership of AIESEC Lebanon, the team won the Leadership Award sponsored by ING, one of the largest banks in Europe.
