About Me

Dalia Khorshid was the first female Minister of Investment serving between 2016 and 2017. She is currently Chairwoman and CEO of MASAR, a private-sector financial advisory firm founded in 2018 to provide financial services to the Egyptian and regional markets.
As a minister, Khorshid established three new free trade zones. She has over 24 years of finance experience in various fields: Corporate Banking, Investment Banking, Corporate Treasury and Private Equity.
Khorshid worked in Orascom Construction Industries (OCI) from 2005 to 2016, most recently Group Corporate Treasurer.

She began her career at the Commercial International Bank (CIB), followed by eight years as Vice President of Citibank prior to joining OCI.
Dalia Khorshid earned her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from The American University in Cairo in 1993.
